Many real estate books fall under the radar, but they’re still worth searching for. This year hundreds of commercial and residential real estate books hit the market, as more people are investing in hard assets during our shaky economic times.
We’ve seen new books such as the “The Multifamily Millionaire,” a two-volume series co-written by Brandon Turner and Brian Murray that teaches readers to take advantage of multifamily rental properties. Then there’s “The High-Performing Real Estate Team,” written by Brian Icenhower, the CEO of Icenhower Coaching & Consulting. There have also been recent releases on disruption in CRE, guides on how to set up a stable roster of properties and real estate books that spell out the basics of investing.
From CRE bibles to investment guides, here are some of the real estate books that came out this summer and fall, along with others scheduled for next year. Don’t miss out!
This book, out January 4, is written by Michael D. Bailey, CFA, is Director of Research and Investment Committee Chair for FBB Capital Partners. The book teaches the investing process in what Bailey calls “an economy where markets are more unpredictable than ever.” With a 12-step process for readers to manage their trading and investing, and 100 key behavioral finance concepts, it’s more than just a beginner’s guide.
This book, written by Chris Barker, dishes CRE secrets. It covers everything from buying commercial properties to marketing one, as well as the most profitable CRE investment options on the market today.
This first-person story coming out on January 11 is written by Sam Liebman, the founder and CEO of WealthWay Equity Group LLC, a New York-based private equity and real estate Development Company. There are many paths to becoming successful in real estate. But flipping houses, holding a license or owning a home is only the beginning of what could be a long and transformative journey to building lasting wealth through real estate. Liebman famously rose to prominence after building a luxury condo with a $100m sellout from a vacant strip of storefronts in Manhattan, and the rest is history. His style is what they call “rubble to ritz.”
Out January 4, this book details how realtors can become stars. From social media tips to sales pitches, Shelley Zavitz breaks it all down.

Written by Damon Yudichak, a Certified Public Accountant, this book details the nitty gritty of how to transform your real estate business to make a profit. Out on January 25, it’s loaded with tax tips and a profit system he calls Profit First, which helps track your process.
This book convinces its readers that you can afford to invest in multifamily real estate, no matter who you are. With master lease options and seller financing covered, author and real estate investor Bill Ham details how to buy properties, find the right deals and to do so with the best way of negotiating possible.
This book breaks down how selling is a game of strategy. According to author Dr. Debora Trimpe, a business coach who has a real estate background in sales and in training realtors, it’s a guide to “accomplish your sales goals immediately,” beyond your average sales guru advice. It’s a good one to keep on your bookshelf in case you’re ever in a slump.
